Chez-Ronny

The place is both a peaceful little oasis and a disco, and Ronny made me feel at home straight away. He handed me the key and let me serve myself behind the bar. I’ve never seen hotel decor I liked more. Now I’ll spend the rest of my life wishing there were a Chez Ronny in every city. I’d stay here every time, and only here. There’s a great discount on Krabbenbrötchen at the local baker, and the whole city center is within walking distance. Reeperbahn can take some getting used to if you’re not in a party mood, but the hotel is surprisingly quiet considering the location. 10/10 isn’t enough, I’d give Ronny 1000000000000000000/10. Everything was fantastic.

Ronny runs the place himself and really goes the extra mile. He puts so much love and effort into it, and places like this are very rare in the world. I add a thousand stars. Thanks, Ronny, for doing it with love and passion for decades. I’ll be back in Sankt Pauli, and only at Chez Ronny. This wonderful little pension is a great anchor for travelers returning to a neighborhood where they once lived, or for anyone who likes the homey red light district flair Sankt Pauli has to offer. I highly recommend it if you’re cool, easy going, friendly, respectful, and know how to party. Ronny deserves prime customers who appreciate what he’s built, so you better don’t mess around.

I’ve been coming here for many years, and it’s always a pleasure to return. Ronny is Hamburg’s best secret place, with a great host and a superb atmosphere.

A superb room for a great price. It was nice and quiet, even though it’s on the Reeperbahn.
