Base Apartments

The stove vacuum smelled so bad that I vomited several times during my stay. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was also a rather oddly placed pole in the room, if that’s what you’re looking for in a hotel.

Pretty awful apartments. The toilet seat was broken, there was no shower gel, and we had just one stool and one chair. I reported all of that and was told it would be fixed, but nothing was. The shower cubicle was cracked too, though I couldn’t be bothered to report it. On our last morning there were loads of wasps. It took less than a second to enter the code and open the door.

A handy option for two or three days, with eateries and supermarkets nearby and public transport close enough for getting to the sights, though the tourist attractions are a bit farther away. The apartment has a basic kitchen with utensils and a cooktop, but no microwave or oven. There’s a working coffee maker with pods and some other drinks. The rooms are small, but there’s a table and chairs and a spacious bathroom. Check-in and checkout are self-service.

Pathetic. We stayed for three weeks, and there was no one living or working at the facility. They told us laundry was free, then later asked us to pay. The fire alarm went off every now and then. Worst of all, they only said at checkout that breakfast was free, and believe me, they’ll charge heavily even if you didn’t eat it a single day. The neighbourhood wasn’t friendly either. Never recommend this to anybody.
