The atmosphere feels very drab, which was a letdown. The location is excellent, and you can book underground parking separately. Check-in went smoothly: you get a code and collect the key from a safe. The bathroom and shower are a good size.

The apartment has everything you need, and you can take in the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Kaiserkai is an impressive street, with shops and restaurants an easy walk away. The car is secure in the underground garage, reached by car lift. You’re also just a stone’s throw from the Elbphilharmonie, the harbor, and the Speicherstadt (warehouse district), making it a fantastic base for experiencing Hamburg. Everything was top-notch and I highly recommend it.

For such a good location right next to the Elbphilharmonie, the price is okay. The apartment is very well equipped.

I didn’t know I’d been given a smoking apartment. It was absolutely disgusting, and I’ll never book that again.
