The water view was lovely, and breakfast had a small buffet of basic local cold items. Staff were friendly and the bed was fine. The WiFi was only medium speed, and the room felt like it dated from around the 90s. It was clean, but I couldn't tell that it had AC. Mornings during breakfast could be noisy. The location is handy for the Airbus area in Hamburg, with a boat bus a minute away on foot and grocery stores about five minutes away.

There aren't many restaurants nearby, so a light dinner makes sense. The hotel itself is calm and comfortable, and breakfast was generous, with lots of choices and homemade cakes.

I've never left a hotel early in my life, especially with just two days remaining, but after three nights I left this one, though I'd booked five. I won't go into every detail. Each might seem unimportant on its own, but together, with the pressure, they made for a really bad experience. The way we were treated wasn't what a customer should expect, even at a small hotel. If your way of life doesn't fit the hotel's common style, be careful when booking. Working nights? You'll soon understand the consequences for yourself.

Unless there's no other option, don't choose this hotel. My room heater didn't work, and spending a freezing night there after paying 90€ for one night was miserable.
