I loved the hotel's charming feel and some of the furniture, and the view from the rooms was lovely. Everything was very clean, and the staff were so friendly. Breakfast was a very good buffet, though I missed having fresh fruit already cut up. The location is great for visiting the city. My favourite hotel in Hamburg!
Train disruptions left us unexpectedly stranded in Hamburg, so we had to find a room in the middle of the night. We were lucky to find this stylish, beautiful hotel. The staff were kind and helpful at both check-in and check-out, and the room was comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was great too. A really positive stay despite the circumstances. We'd happily come back, next time paying for it ourselves!

Right on the Alster, this is a lovely, very clean hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was amazing.
The price felt too high for what we got. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible, and the room was hot. There was no AC or ventilation unless we opened the window. Construction all around the hotel also made the surroundings less scenic. Breakfast was okay, but the area felt a bit cramped for the number of people waiting for food and coffee. It's an okay place to stay, just definitely too expensive.
