The neighborhood felt a little scary for younger people, though it was fine for us as two middle-aged women. Being in central Hamborg also meant we could hear the street. The hotel itself gets five stars from me, the area three. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place was very clean. In fact, it's the cleanest room I've ever seen. We stayed three nights at this perfect little hotel for a short visit. Breakfast was okay, though I would've liked bacon with the scrambled eggs and a little cake too.

The area is multi-culti, and the hotel is central. Our rate included breakfast, which had a good range of continental options, and the breakfast room has a small terrace. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. A few things could be improved: the decor needs updating, the curtains don't close properly and there are no shutters. An Italian shower would be a big plus.

The rooms are very nice and the service is good. Still, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to women. Walking toward the main train station, the area feels terrible, with lots of people who seem unsettling, drunk people, addicts, and homeless people.

A good spot for a couple of nights on a business trip. It's not fancy, but has what you'd need for work travel. The doors and bathroom could use an upgrade. That affects the look more than the comfort, so I gave it four stars.

I felt tricked and ripped off by the staff. When I made an official complaint, they ignored it and never replied. The area around the hotel isn't good either.
