Koje Hostel

The place was clean and tidy. You need a four-digit entry code, sent by email when I booked through Booking. Inside, the key cards are on the wall to the right. Register and enter your details, then tap the chip until it beeps. You can then check into the cabin assigned during registration. The chip opens all the doors except the toilet and kitchen. There’s a coffee machine and a vending machine with snacks, chocolate and other things.

The rooms were clean, but I couldn’t handle sharing with strangers. We arrived in three groups, and they tried to put us in separate rooms with alcoholics. Alcohol was everywhere, and parties were going on outside the hotel. I ended up sleeping in the car. Thanks a lot. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I came with my mother for the Hamburg harbor festival. The hostel was clean, really nice, and very well equipped. We’d definitely recommend it.

The room had plenty of space, which I appreciated. Check-in was difficult for me because my English isn’t good, but they managed to help remotely through the security camera.
