I stayed here before a morning flight, so the location worked really well. The rooms were clean and decent. Reception was amazingly helpful and even arranged a taxi, so when I woke up I didn’t have to worry about anything.

We were glad the planes stopped flying overhead at about 10 pm, so we got a restful sleep. The rooms were small, but clean and enough for what we needed. Staff were friendly, breakfast was decent, and there are some good restaurants within walking distance. The only issue was no air conditioning, though opening the windows cooled the room at night.

After a long day out, I missed having a coffee maker in the room. Still, it was comfortable and had the basics, including a TV and shower. I picked it for the airport, which is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Planes pass overhead, but the soundproofing means you barely notice them. The staff were friendly, breakfast was a continental buffet for an extra 10€, and we’d come back.

The room was very basic. It was a warm night, so we opened the windows, but then traffic and low flying planes made a lot of noise.

You can hear planes taking off now and then, though it’s not constant. The hotel is close to Hamburg airport, with a route through the car park and across the road bridge. Staff were friendly and it was good value.
