My-bed Hamburg

The beds were comfortable, and our room was spacious and very clean. It had a nice view, a small dining table, TV, fridge, and wardrobe, along with an amazing bathroom. It's a very nice, affordable place about 20km from Hamburg city center. Getting the key was easy: on arrival day, an email gave us a code to use in the boxes by the entrance door. Parking in front is free, and there's a coffee machine and tea in the hallway. One small thing to improve: a mosquito net on the window would help. It was nice to open it on a summer evening, but mosquitoes got in.

There are several rooms in the building. On arrival day, you get a code after making an online reservation, then enter it into the boxes by the entrance door to collect your key and find your room. The shared kitchen has plates and other things you might need, plus free coffee and tea. Parking beside the building or on the street was no problem.

I had an unexpected situation in Hamburg and needed somewhere quickly for one night, just to rest and shower. I booked through Booking, and they confirmed straight away and let me arrive 2h earlier. When we got there, we were disappointed that nobody spoke English, but eventually found a girl who told us the staff speak Polish. The place really surprised me: the room was spotless, the beds and shower were nice, and it had everything needed, even a coffee machine and microwave. Free parking, a lovely view from the window, and friendly staff too. I'd stay here again if I needed to come to Hamburg, though having a car is most convenient because it's in the suburbs.

The room was a good size, and the bathroom was good, though there was no shampoo. A fridge was in the room, and the shared kitchen just a couple of metres away was well equipped. Free tea and coffee, too. It suited me very well apart from the somewhat slow WiFi. There wasn't anyone at reception, but a note gave a phone number and the manager arrived in two or three minutes.
