There was mold in the bathroom, and the shower was broken. Sound carried everywhere: we could hear the neighbors talking, and even hear everything when someone walked along the street.

Pionier Hôtel Hamburg – Ludin is convenient for getting around by public transport, and Big Rewe is only a 5-minute walk away for essentials. It’s a budget-friendly option, with fair rates for the comfort and location. The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms can comfortably fit three people. Each has a private bathroom, so it works well for families or small groups.

I wouldn’t stay here. The hotel didn’t feel safe at all. I’m not even sure whether the cameras in the parking lot are working, and the person at reception seemed unable to handle basic communication.

You get what you pay for. The Wi-Fi never worked and used up all our data for the trip. There was mold in the shower and a blood stain in the bathroom. Try to stay away…

Avoid this place if you can. They messed up my booking and offered me another hotel instead, one with bed bugs, 20 kilometres from the city centre. There also isn’t always someone at reception, so on your first check-in it can take 20-30 minutes for someone to open the door.
