The neighborhood was quiet, and our room was spacious, with a large bathroom. Staff were friendly and pointed us toward good local restaurants and attractions. The old-style hotel is about a five-minute walk from Hamburg's main train and bus stations. I'd recommend it.

The early check-in at 11:00 am was a nice bonus, and the ALPHA TEAM were very attentive. The rooms were clean and quiet, and breakfast was really good for such a small place. It's an inexpensive hotel close to Central Station. I'll be back, thank you!

The room was roomy, cozy, and quiet, though the cleaning could have been a little more thorough. We weren't too bothered by that, with such a great location, friendly staff, and a nice feel to the place. It's near the central station, a lovely park by the water, and some great bars and restaurants.

George and Linda were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was very competitive. The hotel is only a few minutes from the main station, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Breakfast costs extra, but we didn't try it.

We had a good German meal at the Bierkeller next door after our long journey. There are plenty of food options nearby, as the hotel itself has no restaurant. The host was charming and spoke excellent English. He serves a very good buffet breakfast, but you have to order it the night before. Reception closes fairly early, though there seems to be an arrangement for late arrivals. I only found the instructions in my junk mail after checking in. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with simple furnishings and, unexpectedly, a four-poster bed. The shower was small and the water alarmingly hot. It's an old, simple hotel just a couple of minutes' walk from the Hauptbahnhof, and surprisingly quiet for its location.
