The only good thing I can say is that there were no bedbugs. The bathroom was the worst part: its light runs on a motion sensor, so a shower longer than a minute, or washing your hair, meant choosing between bringing a flashlight or jumping out every minute to wave around and trigger the sensor. I had to do the latter, flailing about in a dark motel bathroom. The toilet paper also had some kind of mystery bodily fluid smeared along its sides. Getting into the room was a hassle from the start. There was only about 5m² for our whole family and luggage to shelter from the rain while we tried to use a faulty digital check-in system that had no language setting apart from German. We had to struggle through with Google translate. Once we got in, there was no room name, so we tried our card on each door until one opened. The layout seemed designed by a toddler, with no thought for how people would use the room. Only some beds had outlets nearby, and there wasn’t one by the kettle, so we had to move it to a bedside table. This place is a disaster, to say the least.
