I couldn’t find the entrance at first and thought it was for staff. There was nobody at the information desk, so I rang the bell. After 25 minutes and a third ring, still no one came, so I called. The person in charge eventually arrived, but spoke neither German nor English. Sorry, everyone has their own style, but I’ve never seen so many stains on a T-shirt, and it didn’t give a welcoming impression for a service job. Somehow he understood me and showed me the room. Everything was booked, so I had no choice but to stay there. For €190 for two nights, what they offered was outrageous. It smelled like a compost bin, the carpet was disgusting, the windows wouldn’t shut properly and had a huge gap, and old mattresses were left in front of one. There was mold in the shower, a generator running in the next room that was especially annoying at night, and silverfish and other insects everywhere. Never again.

The bed was super comfortable, and the staff were absolutely friendly. They always had an answer to every question, so I’m more than satisfied with the stay.
