Breakfast was excellent, with gluten-free choices, and the staff were polite and very accommodating. The boutique-style hotel has lovely bijou rooms, clean and recently decorated with a minimalist feel. We slept well in a very comfortable bed. It’s truly dog friendly, and the owner reserved us a secluded breakfast table. There’s a great pet-friendly park across the street, and the hotel sits at the edge of Hameln’s old town with lots of dining options nearby. Highly recommended!

The old building has been renovated nicely, and the rooms are small but clean and pleasant. Breakfast has plenty to choose from. There’s a parking lot, though spaces are limited. The city center is very close, and the beautiful park is about a 2-minute walk away.

We were there for four nights, and the Hotel an Der Altstadt was spotless and well kept. The staff were especially friendly, most speaking excellent English, and breakfast was excellent. We had to leave very early for a train on our last day, but they still served breakfast well before the stated hours. Top marks for service with a smile!

I come here regularly when visiting a customer in Hameln. The rooms are spacious and clean, with good WiFi and a desk for working. Parking is free, and the location makes it easy to walk into the centre and get around.
