The breakfast cost extra, but it was worth paying for. We only stayed one night while heading south, and the English-speaking hostess made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. I’d booked for the wrong date by mistake, but she sorted it out quickly. The on-site restaurant needed a reservation, so we went to a barbecue place down the street instead and had no complaints. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it to friends traveling this way.

The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and even though we arrived very late, finding the keys and settling in was easy. The location works well if you’re catching a ferry or coming back from one, and the area is nice. Parking was full when we got there late. We also wanted to leave early, but breakfast didn’t open until 8:00. By the time we got to the packed breakfast room at 8:05, we left without eating.

It’s a tidy, pleasant hotel out in the countryside, though a bit far from everything. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, and a special thanks to the friendly woman working in the breakfast room 🙂

We ended up in Hammoor unexpectedly and had to find a hotel in a hurry. The staff were really friendly and even let us pick our room. It was lovely and clean, and breakfast was truly delicious. Just keep in mind that reception closes at 18:00 and Hammoor’s restaurants are shut on Sundays. There are facilities if you want to cook for yourself.

For a 3-star bed and breakfast hotel, it was just what I expected. If you can, ask for a room away from the road 👍
