We called them to book, and the process went smoothly. Since we’re on a diet, the owner baked special bread for us. Everything is organic, and the service was very good. Parking is easy and free, and the hotel is in a secluded, safe spot near the river. Highly recommended.

The room was nice and clean, though the bathroom was small. The dinner menu has lots of vegan options, which I guess will appeal to some people, and it’s a nice place if you like cumin. Go for the experience, but if you just want to eat and head to bed, be ready for a wait.

We’ve been coming to Flux in the Werratal since 2013 and have always been very happy there. The staff are friendly and competent, the food is excellent, the room clean and comfortable, and the parking is good. Everything was perfect again. Staying there has always been, and will continue to be, one of the highlights of our summer trip to Germany.

The food was phenomenal, and even as a picky eater I was very pleased. My salad tasted like it had been made with ingredients just picked from the garden. We were there for my daughter’s wedding, and afterward the hotel staff washed, dried, and folded a suitcase of clothes that had been ruined by a spill. They were exceptional. Our first visit to Germany was a pleasure, and staying here was part of that.

My sister chose a wonderful place for us to stay for her wedding, which was my first trip to Germany. We were welcomed like family. The rooms were immaculate, the organic meals superb, and the staff couldn’t have been more hospitable or accommodating. The setting was serene and peaceful, surrounded by nature yet close to major highways. Very relaxing. I highly recommend it.
