Limehome Hannover Bleichenstraße

Online check-in and checkout were smooth, and my small room was clean with all the basics. I chose it because I was traveling alone. The hotel is right in the city center, but there was a bad smell at the building entrance.

The bathroom and bed were both inadequate, which made this a horrible stay. The first bathroom was moldy, and the mattress topper was old and covered in lint balls, like tiny gravel. The bed was made from two single spring boxes with a large mattress on top, leaving the middle higher than the sides. I kept rolling outward and woke several times with sore shoulders. The walls were paper thin, so I could hear everything in the building. There were only two hangers and no shelves or closet, no iron, and the elevator was out of service. No staff were on site, and replies took a long time. The room was supposed to be a suite, but felt more like a shack. After I complained, I was moved the next day. The bed was similar, but they had removed the old topper with the lint balls. The bathroom was slightly better, though still not properly cleaned, and this time there was a horrendous smell that wouldn't go away and seeped into the room. I give up. I do NOT recommend.

Getting around was easy, and the facilities were complete. The service was very good.

We were asleep in the apartment at midnight when someone broke in. I complained, but nobody cared. The place was dirty, and the access code isn't private, so it doesn't feel safe. It was the worst stay of our lives. Don't ever stay there!
