Getting to VW Hannover is easy from here, and the pricing felt fair. There's a subway station and a REWE supermarket across the street. The rooms have a modern look, are clean, and include a large refrigerator with plenty of space for food and drinks. Breakfast can be bought at the supermarket.

I had a good stay, even though you can tell the COVID crisis has had an impact. The owner seems to be trying hard to make the experience as good as possible. We were in a hurry, so I didn't try breakfast, but the dining room looked clean and pleasant, and the lady sitting there was very nice. A really nice hotel, I recommend it.

My AirPods Pro were a special gift from my wife, so getting them back matters a lot to me. I left them in my room at Hotel Mecklenheide Hannover on the 4th of May. The manager found them and initially agreed to mail them to me in Denmark, which I appreciated, but more than two weeks have passed without anything being done, despite several follow-ups. I've shared all the information needed and offered to pay shipping, but haven't received a response. This has really affected how I feel about the hotel. I still hope management will sort it out soon, and I'll update this review if they do.

Really happy with this place. The owner was friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were easy, and parking and WiFi were free. The room was super clean and spacious, with comfy beds, a big flatscreen, and very cool art and design.

Late check-in can be arranged by contacting the person at the online reception. The hotel was good, and I especially liked the rooms with a small kitchen. There's also a coffee spot downstairs.
