We’ll stay here again when we’re nearby. It’s a quiet little find about a 20-minute drive from busy Nürnberg, and the pool and sauna were very well kept. The restaurant felt cozy, and the food was delicious. My wife had fish that was promptly caught from the river behind the property, and it was one of the tastiest fish we’ve ever had. We sent our compliments to the chef. The room was spotless, with a good mattress and quality linens, though the furniture looked dated. The bathroom had been newly renovated.

I’d happily return if I’m in the area. It’s a peaceful hotel in Bavaria, with clean rooms and helpful staff. The food is very good and reasonably priced, cooked in the kitchen rather than brought in and reheated. The meals shown are schnitzel and boiled beef with horseradish sauce. There are no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room.

The food itself was good, though the restaurant menu could use more options. Breakfast could offer more variety for a four-star hotel too. Service was friendly and good. The room was okay, but the bed felt too soft.

The surroundings are nice and very quiet, and I don't have any particular complaint. The equipment looks quite old, though it's clean, and the dim lighting feels a bit depressing. The restaurant serves classic German food, but it was heavy and hard to like. WiFi in my room kept losing connection and was difficult to use.

The breakfast buffet was the best in the world, according to my children. The surroundings are lovely, and the rooms are nice and spacious. Well worth a detour from the autobahn when driving through Germany. Highly recommend.
