Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte

The Turkish-speaking waiter helped me a lot since I don't speak German, and made sure I was comfortable. A lady from the restaurant even showed me around the football fields after I was excited to learn that sports teams train here. I felt extremely lucky to be put in this hotel and can't say enough about how great my stay was. Love Germany 🇩🇪❤️😉 It's such a romantic, beautiful place, great for weddings or just a relaxing stay. My room was clean, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up, and the pillows and linen were wow. It could easily be a six-star hotel. Breakfast was superb, and dinner had a great range of choices. The staff were cheerful and very friendly. The coffee was good, and the beer too.

It's a beautiful, green location, and the food was top-notch. The room was large and clean, including the bathroom, though there was old mold in the shower. In the heat of summer, my superior room on the top floor felt like a greenhouse. It had no air conditioning or fan, and opening the windows didn't help, just let insects in. The hotel couldn't provide a fan when I asked. Some rooms may have air conditioning, but this top-floor superior room didn't. I'd recommend the location, but in summer, ask specifically for a room with air conditioning. Breakfast had good options, a fresh omelette station, and some vegan and vegetarian choices. There was also a great variety for non-vegetarians.

A nice, affordable hotel that feels like a fairy tale. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I thought I'd booked a B&B reservation, but it turned out I'd only booked the hotel without breakfast. They kindly offered breakfast for free, which I really appreciated.

A relaxing place with average rooms and breakfast. The waiters were very friendly, but one waitress was quite rude in the evening. Dinner varied a lot: it can be extremely good or pretty bad. In two days we experienced both, and the fish even made us sick. In November 20, the wellness will be greatly improved.
