We felt very comfortable during our three days there. The welcome and help on site were warm and useful, and the spacious apartment was comfortable and well equipped. There was also secure storage for bicycles.

The owners are friendly, and the place was clean, so I'd recommend it. The apartment has a lovely, detailed feel, mostly with modern furniture but a few antiques too. The bedroom is especially a bit like "grandma's," which may or may not be your thing, though you'll mostly just sleep there.

We spent a week here with the family and had a wonderful time. The apartment was cozy, roomy, well equipped, and set in a beautiful, quiet spot. A bakery, supermarket, and outdoor pool are all walkable. By car, we could easily get to the falcons and owls in Günthersberge, hikes with caves and waterfalls, Thale, Quedlinburg, and lots of other lovely places in the eastern Harz.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished, with great amenities, and it's centrally located. The owners are very friendly.

Maison Cyriax has a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, with all kinds of knives, plenty of pots and pans, a hand blender, and more. The charming apartment fits four comfortably and is fairly priced, including bed linens, towels, and final cleaning. Set among Harzgerode's historic half-timbered houses and winding lanes, it's a great starting point for hikes through the Selke Valley. Dear Wonneberger family, thank you for everything!
