We’ve been returning for years because it’s such a relaxing place. The service is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are practical and nicely furnished. Breakfast is delicious, especially the homemade jam, and they’re happy to cater to requests for cold cuts, cheese, coffee, hot chocolate or tea. There are free beach chairs on the North Sea dike, a shower for rinsing off the mud, parking and restrooms. All amenities are free, with no tourist tax. Anyone expecting a sandy beach at Hedwigenkoog may be disappointed, but St. Peter-Ording isn’t far away. We’re looking forward to our next visit. The Hamburgers FYI: This guesthouse has new owners. The area is great for lovely bike rides. We were absolutely delighted by Tuula’s exceptional hospitality, and the whole house, rooms included, felt harmonious, warm and full of charm. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was served with such care. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! 😊

It’s wonderfully peaceful, with lovely cycling paths nearby, and Büsum is absolutely beautiful. We received such a warm welcome, and the rooms were clean and beautiful. Even though we were the only guests, breakfast had a fantastic selection and was truly excellent. The hosts often checked whether we needed anything. We’d love to come back!

The guesthouse is lovely, thoughtfully furnished and in a quiet spot that works well as a base for excursions. We had another great room, and breakfast was prepared with such care, including homemade jam. Each time, it gets better! Mrs. Walther always has a great suggestion for something to do during the day. Just go and enjoy. We’ll definitely be back next year!
