The fried potatoes were lovely, and the cheese and fried onion on my Schnitzel made it a great meal. We were looked after by a really friendly woman. It’s a lovely pub with plenty of food to choose from, and I’d happily return when I’m in Heidelberg again.

A great local spot for lunch, and they were really accommodating. The food was amazing, and the beer comes in a 1-liter boot or even a 3-liter glass!

The food was good, and the service was friendly 😊👍. We went for Sunday lunch and it was fairly quiet. The old student pub serves German food, with vintage photos and rustic furniture giving it a different feel right in the heart of Heidelberg.

I probably won’t eat at this restaurant again. The salad was only a 5/10, and the dessert was a 1/10. Anyone could make a better pancake. I also paid cash for extras on top of the pre-ordered menu and didn’t get any change back. The food wasn’t great.

The place felt cozy and welcoming, and the food had incredible flavors. Service was warm and attentive too. Everything was absolutely fabulous and made the experience unforgettable.
