The shower definitely didn't have enough hot water. The TV is also much too small for watching from the bed, which sits under a sloping ceiling and takes some care getting in and out of. It's a small, slightly dated apartment under the roof, but it has everything you need and we felt very comfortable despite those little issues.

I use a wheelchair and couldn't manage anywhere in the apartment because the doors were too narrow. The shower was so small I couldn't turn around or wash my lower body. This shouldn't be called an apartment, it's more like workers' accommodation, and expensive for what you get. In the highlands, you can find apartments with a lake view and fully equipped kitchens for €50 less per day, twice the size even in peak season. I'm very disappointed. The garden terrace is just a storage area with no flowers, an old bench, a table, and two unattractive chairs. There was no microwave, only one cleaning cloth, and no broom or shoehorn. One window faces a small road, while the back wall is a cliff face. It would be fine as accommodation for construction workers, but having a holiday here would be unacceptable.

The "Helgoland Embassy" handled check-in and check-out and deserves special praise. They were very, very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We booked an apartment but got a large room with a kitchenette. Everything else was there, though we missed a second reading lamp, power outlets, and a tea strainer.

The apartment had everything we needed, and everything went perfectly from check-in through check-out. I'd definitely stay here again.
