Everything was great, and we felt very comfortable. Thanks to the Meyer family. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen, and it’s set up perfectly for divers, including a drying room and an area to wash diving equipment. The Kreidesee lake is 4 km away, about a 6-minute walk.

We were warmly welcomed a few weeks ago when the three of us came to dive in the chalk lake during the day. Along with the lovely, beautifully furnished apartment, there was a private garden and a drying room for all our dive gear. The owners are well prepared for divers, and the accommodation is just perfect. We’d love to return. :-)

After diving or a day out, the fireplace and lovely decor make for cozy evenings. The apartment is huge, very comfortable, nicely furnished with attention to detail, and suitable for up to 3 people. There’s a large kitchen and a large modern bathroom. Shops and places to eat are within walking distance, and the Kreidesee lake is a 5-minute drive away. For divers, there’s a separate lockable drying room, a spot for cleaning equipment, and even assembly tables to prepare it. Many thanks to the Meyer family for a wonderful diving weekend. We’ve stayed here many times, and it’s always been clean. Special requests were handled promptly, and the friendly, helpful owners make it a pleasure to stay. The amenities are above average, so even a longer visit is comfortable. A supermarket and the Hemmoor chalk lake are just a few minutes away by car, while the bakery is within walking distance. This is our first choice in Hemmoor, especially as a home base for diving. Highly recommended.
