The old Bavarian feel made this cafe a really cozy place to spend a cold winter evening. We had freshly made Käsekuchen, Apfelstrudel with cream and ice cream, and a Cappuccino; everything met our expectations. The view was fantastic too. Just to be clear, this is a review of the cafe, not the Gasthaus.
The mountains in the distance are a lovely backdrop to the traditional decor inside. There’s an extensive menu of Bavarian specialties, and the meals we had were great.
The view across Bavaria is one of the best parts, especially with a warm Apfel Strudl and vanilla ice cream. It comes hot from the oven, just as it should.
The people are friendly and the place is beautiful, with fantastic views. It’s a shame that Corona has taken dining in away.
The service was good, and so was the food.
