The food was great, and the restaurant and bar felt welcoming and open. We were there for a work event, and the rooms were comfortable; the meeting rooms worked well, too. One batch of chicken for the group wasn't fully cooked, but they fixed it quickly. It got a bit warm during the hottest time of year, and watch out for the spiky seed pods dropping from the trees outside.

The basement bar and lounge are fun in the evening, but my favorite is still the beer garden on a pleasant summer day. The food and service are great, and the place is easy to get to and accessible. It's a local hangout, and it's always been a gem in the area. The renovation and new lift give it a fresh, classic-meets-modern feel.

At 11:35 p.m., customers were still singing very loudly through a speaker and dancing in the first-floor restaurant. We were staying at the Mond Hotel and couldn't get to sleep. Reception told us the party would end at midnight. You have to put up with the noise here. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The noise pollution is awful, the quality is poor, and you can't get any rest.

The room was spacious, but the windows let in a lot of noise. They also couldn't store our bags at the hotel on Sunday, which caused a lot of inconvenience.

I called to reserve fondue at the restaurant, but it was closed. Apparently it had been set up for this place upstairs, so I was confused and disappointed. The burger was good, and so was their own brewed beer, at least.
