The apartments are set in a very old German-style building right beside the big church. It gives the place a special historic setting, almost as if Beethoven might walk down the street. Both apartments are cozy: one is smaller and on the ground floor, while the larger, more comfortable one is upstairs. I spent three weeks in the smaller one, then several more in the upper apartment. It had everything I needed and more, including a TV, oven, full kitchen, dining table, coffee table, sofa, and a separate bedroom with a double bed. I can recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The service on site was exemplary, and being close to the market square and its many historic buildings made the stay feel magical. Our holiday flat was in a breathtaking old half-timbered house, though inside it was furnished in a modern style. The uneven floors and different ceiling heights gave us the feeling of stepping back in time. It was a completely new experience for us, and I'd recommend it for a weekend or a longer stay.
