Breakfast was okay, and the sausage might be good, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We’d booked by phone, yet nobody was there when we came to get the key. Nobody answered the phone or the doorbell. After half an hour, we finally got inside. The rooms were very run-down, the shower had mold, and the heating was only lukewarm.

It’s unbelievable. We arrived late at night expecting the booking we’d made by phone to be ready, but nobody was there and we couldn’t reach anyone. We later found out the owners simply aren’t interested in taking bookings. Why accept them at all? Travelers are left thinking they’ve finally arrived, then have to keep going and hope they can find somewhere to stay. They should just stop taking bookings. Beware when booking!

The way they treated us when we went to look at the rooms was the last straw. They made it clear they didn’t need to be there for us, so we gave up on the rooms. We’d reserved a room, and the keys were supposed to be in a safe when we arrived, but they weren’t there. We called and got, “Yes, I’ll be right there.” Never again Lindenhof!!!

They said they couldn’t operate the hotel because they were overwhelmed with catering and the butcher shop. My guaranteed booking was cancelled verbally over the phone, just one day before arrival. I’d called the day before that to ask about it. I would give zero stars if I could.
