Breakfast was decent for the price, and the view from the room was really nice. The room facilities let us down a bit, though. This wasn't the best stop on our latest trip through Germany.

We had a spacious room with a separate bedroom, shower, and sitting area, and breakfast had a good range of choices for a small extra charge. The restaurant seemed popular with locals, and I thought the food was cooked to a high standard. It's a family-run hotel, the complete opposite of a big chain. Service was friendly and helpful, though simple: check in, get your key, and directions to the room. It's only a few minutes from the autobahn, but tucked away on a quiet road. We'd happily stay there again.

The staff were helpful, breakfast was great, and I loved the clean, very nice suite and its lovely bathroom.

The people were lovely, the beer was good, and there was good music. I felt spoiled. The rooms were spotless, and the rump steak was perfect. I got a bit lost, and they even drove me to the next village so I could catch my bus. Check out these photos.

For 90 euros, I expected more. The room was a small box facing the street, and the hallway leading to it was unfinished and still being renovated. It reminded me of a nicely renovated youth hostel with a flat-screen TV, but there was nothing spacious or special about it. A real disappointment. I booked directly by phone instead of using booking.com. The pictures had made me look forward to staying there.
