We had a fantastic view from our apartment and a wonderful stay at Lake Constance. Mr. Rauber always has an anecdote to share, and the staff are friendly. They sell fruit and home-distilled schnapps, and we could rent bicycles there to explore the area. I'll definitely visit again.

The location on Lake Constance is fantastic, and the property has its own grounds, but unfortunately they're very neglected. The neighbors make much better use of theirs. The furniture looks pieced together, and the mattresses need replacing. Mr. Rauber doesn't seem very handy, so a kitchen cabinet door is missing and he never gets around to putting it back, among other things. Mrs. Rauber is very nice, though she often seems overwhelmed.

We've stayed here many times and plan to keep coming back. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The breakfast buffet has everything you'd want. You can also cook your own meals in the apartment, at your own expense. And the location right on the lake is excellent.
