Romantik Hotel Zehntkeller

The service team is warm and friendly, and you get the sense they really want to help. The old hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, with lovely interiors too. My friends said their rooms were generally very nice, though mine on the second floor was quite hot and the bed was hard. We also heard a lot of noise from the crew and suppliers outside very early in the morning, around 06:00, as carts were dragged over the cobbled entrance. The food was generally good, though over our five nights we noticed a few culinary mistakes. The beautiful buildings, interior, setting, and friendly service team were the strongest points.

The hotel is very pretty, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and in very good condition. The bathroom was spotless and felt new. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and very good, and there’s a large private parking area. The wines were also very good and reasonably priced. I arrived too late to try the restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

The room got really hot overnight, and there was no air conditioning in my single room in the main building. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay. I had a lovely meal outside with wine from the estate, and breakfast was excellent. The Wi-Fi was good too.

The area was quiet, though the church bells will wake you up! My room was huge and very clean, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the wines were good.
