The location in the centre is great, but there was no hairdryer in the room, so be prepared for that. Entry uses a code they provide on arrival, which means you don’t have to worry about check-in hours. During my four-night stay, there was no room service at all.

I switched here after five days at another hotel down the street, where I’d been staying since last week, and this place is so much better than five stars. The rooms really impressed me: amazing design and everything was spotless. Whoever designed them did a great job. They also had a cot for my little one, and check-in was easy.

The bathroom was disgusting, with a sick-and-poop smell and no ventilation. There’s no proper wardrobe even though there’s room for one, which is really annoying. Worst of all, there was no hot water. With kids who’d been playing all day during summer holidays, that’s completely unacceptable. I’m still here and can’t wait to leave. I visit Jena often and will never stay here again.

The room was modern, and the location was very good.
