We had a nice casual Sunday lunch. The staff were friendly and professional, the toilets were clean, and the place has a pleasant rustic brewery feel. Their homemade Pils was very good and well priced. There were about 3-4 vegetarian and vegan options, nicely presented. I really liked the cauliflower schnitzel with what was like mashed potatoes and roasted red peppers. My companion enjoyed the steak with fried potatoes and boiled greens on the side. The vegetarian schnitzel we tried was tasty too.

The Thüringer Kloßen, which are similar to a Knödel, were so good. Honestly, I found it hard to choose a favorite because I loved everything we ordered, from drinks to mains and dessert. The wait staff were funny, friendly, helpful, and gave us five-star service. Can't recommend this place enough! ✨👍🏻

The Haxe is especially worth trying, and it's a big portion. The food seems fresh and homemade, and the beer is very tasty, professionally made rather than like an average microbrew. The staff were very friendly too.

The food was amazing, and I liked the vegan choices, homemade beer, and pleasant interior. Drinks took a while to arrive, though. We waited around 15 minutes for two of them. We were there with people who don't speak German, and when we pointed out at the end that we'd been overcharged, the waitress argued with us.

It's a nice, cozy place to sit together and enjoy a beer. The beer is good, but the Thuringian dishes have been a letdown for me on several visits over the past year or so. The dumplings and red cabbage look appealing but are surprisingly tasteless. I hope these important local foods improve at some point. It's a shame if people decide not to return because of them.
