We’d happily come back. The owners are very nice, and the apartment is cozy, lovely, well equipped, and quiet inside. There’s a country road about 50 metres away, but it doesn’t really bother you. Outside, the former mill sits beside a little stream and a pond held back by a dam. The garden is huge and beautiful, with mature trees, the pond and stream, a Kneipp pool, an incredible fern forest, swans, ducks, birds, butterflies, grasshoppers, dragonflies, and so much else that’s hard to find these days. There are two apartments, one with a terrace and the other with direct garden access. Wooden loungers, tables, and chairs are spread around so you can relax outside. Just one small request: please give us more than a spoonful of soup!

We had a lovely New Year stay in a cozy, beautiful apartment that was very well equipped. The natural grounds and hiking trails were lovely, and there were swans on the property. Mrs. Aberle gave us a friendly welcome, and even our dogs felt at home.

I’ve been living here since September and it’s absolutely beautiful. Everything is clean and quiet, and Mr. and Mrs. Aberle are so kind and friendly. My dogs feel at home and can run around freely. I’d love to stay forever. Best wishes, Petra Ottinger

The setting and atmosphere are beautiful, but the value for money is average at best. The holiday apartment feels somewhat dated and could use some renovation.
