Rheinhotel LARUS

We liked how peaceful the hotel felt, close to nature and well suited to families or anyone wanting to get away from everyday distractions. Being near the Rhine made it easy to go walking or do sports. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious, though the kitchen and bar options were limited. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was delicious, and we had a very pleasant experience. Service was friendly and helpful, though a little slow. It took us quite a while to get our waiter's attention when we wanted to order more drinks. The wine list seemed somewhat limited, although perhaps our waiter simply wasn't familiar with all the options.

Jacob was a delight to talk with, and his service was wonderful. Our dinner was phenomenal, and breakfast was delicious too. We had a very nice, well-kept room, though you'll probably need to request one if you want windows facing the Rhine. We were in Koblenz for our honeymoon, and LARUS graciously let us check in and have dinner despite arriving a bit late. At checkout, the helpful staff called a taxi to get us back to the train station and even gave us a packaged lunch that other guests had ordered but left behind. We booked a room for my wife and me, and we'll definitely return to the Reinhotel LARUS if we ever come back to Koblenz.
