Art City Studio Kassel

Booking was very easy, and the apartment is bright, clean, and beautiful. The rooftop terrace faces the Hercules monument, and the location worked perfectly for our family with a dog. We'll be back!

The booking confirmation came as a nasty surprise: the apartment was in Niestetal, not the town center. I found the accommodation on Google Maps because it was a 5-minute walk from Kettengasse. On the phone I was told apartment 1 was unavailable but apartment 7 could be booked. I hadn't researched enough, according to the landlord. From my side, I wasn't told by phone that the apartments weren't all in the same building. I called again to explain the problem. He said he had been very friendly, perhaps by his own standards, but both calls were a complete disaster. I couldn't change the booking, and he said I should be grateful because you can't sleep or park in the town center. That wasn't the point. I wanted somewhere a 5-minute walk from my girlfriend's place. He said it was 5 minutes by car, though in reality it was 15, and 50 minutes on foot according to GPS. Then he claimed I could walk it in 20 minutes if I didn't follow the GPS route. That's a bad joke!

After a year and a half staying in different places, I'll miss this apartment. If you're in Kassel alone for work, Art City Studio Apartment No. 5 is a perfect fit. It's in Niestetal, where you can relax away from the city center while still feeling safe, with good transport connections and shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment has everything you need and is always clean and comfortable. The balcony looks out at the Hercules monument and the surrounding greenery, which is beautiful. The landlady is easy to reach, and collecting the key from the key box is straightforward. Thanks to the Baum family for such a wonderful rental. Absolutely recommended, five stars!

We stayed in Studio 7 in Niestetal and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortably furnished it was. The location was perfect, and the beautiful view was wonderful. Our dog loved the welcome treat too, thank you for that. Communication was very pleasant and friendly. We'd happily book again in a heartbeat, and would give another five stars on top of the five already given. Highly recommended if you're after comfortable, affordable accommodation.
