The host doesn't speak English, which is why I can't give the full five stars. We managed to communicate somehow, though I would have preferred a host who spoke English. The place is very clean and in a peaceful neighborhood. Breakfast isn't included, but Lidl, Rewe and Aldi are all very close, in that order. The city center is 3 km away, about a 30-minute walk.

A clean, quiet place.

It was horribly cold, with no heating. The advertising didn't match what was provided. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were clean and the roommates were great, but I booked a two-bed room and got a three-bed room instead. I was told it would be shared by two people, so that was really bad. The bed I ended up with was also so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep properly, only about four hours. That's crazy when the stay is so expensive.

It was clean and easy to get into, and the tram nearby made it easy to reach Kassel center. But this isn't a hostel, it's an apartment with four beds and no staff. As a woman traveling alone, I was surprised and didn't feel safe being expected to share a small room with a random man. There was no TV and barely any cooking equipment.
