Kempen itself is lovely, and the hotel is very well placed, with a great bathroom too. But the room was hot in the warm weather, and for the price I expected more. It was clean, though I was surprised to be put in the "Gentleman" room as a woman. There was a kettle and coffee but no sugar, and no safe. I only noticed after getting home that my earpods were missing from their case. I stayed a whole week and had no contact with staff, apart from the kind woman at breakfast. You can't choose where to sit, and breakfast didn't offer much if you don't eat salty food. The fresh fruit was a nice touch, but the coffee was bad. I won't book this hotel next time.

I arrived late, but my key was waiting in the deposit box, so checking in was easy. Nice hotel, and the breakfast was great.

The breakfast was only okay, and the waiting staff seemed out of practice after COVID. They mixed up our orders and confused them with other tables' orders. The place is small and close to the city centre, with free parking out back. Our rooms were in two different buildings, so we had to go between them for breakfast and other things.

It's very close to the train station, mediamarket, LIDL, and supermarkets, which is the best thing about it. The breakfast was fine, though there wasn't much variety. The room was quite small and had no air conditioning, and there weren't many resources. Luckily, the weather in Kempen helped.
