Apfelhof-Bodensee Röhrenbach

Sooo good!

Our second-floor maisonette was bright, welcoming, and spotless. I've never stayed in a cleaner vacation rental. Towels and soap were provided; shampoo may have been missing, though I didn't check the shower because I used the lovely bathtub. There's also a little stand selling apples, potatoes, and strawberries. Communication before arrival was friendly and professional, and we were extremely happy with our stay. I'd gladly return, though next time I might bring a slightly thinner pillow since that's just my preference. :-)

The bus stop is right outside, with very good connections to Überlingen and Friedrichshafen. Travel is free with the Lake Constance Ticket, which the very friendly landlords can provide. Our top-floor maisonette was very spacious, with three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, and maisonette guests get a free underground parking space. The apartment was clean and well maintained, and there's a children's playground next to the building. We highly recommend it.

The kids had a fantastic time, with a playroom, outdoor equipment, rabbits, and go-karts to keep them busy. Adults can use the sauna once a week, and there was also a guided tour and tasting at the on-site schnapps distillery, plus the barbecue and garden. The apartment was clean, tidy, and had what we needed, though it wasn't especially luxurious. Local and homemade products are sold at the accommodation and in the village. The location works well for all kinds of activities, and the guest card gives free public transport, with the bus stopping right outside, and activity discounts. We bought the Bodensee Plus card, which covered 160 free activities, and found it worth the cost after shopping around. With our children, aged 5 and 3, we could easily walk to the beach and take the bus home. A perfect place for a family holiday on Lake Constance.
