The breakfast was generous, with top-quality products, and the staff were kind and very helpful. It’s in a renovated old traditional building, with clean, spacious rooms and modern, minimal decor. Close to Freiburg, it’s a good base for day trips into the Black Forest. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was included and really good, and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. Getting to Freiburg and other places by public transit is easy. We paid 115e for a double, which felt like a terrific price. The rooms are big, clean, and newly decorated in a nice way, with crisp cotton linens, good mattresses, and stylish glass bathrooms. Service was courteous, though it isn’t 24-hour, which didn’t matter to us. An exceptional hotel for the value.

The food was excellent, and the beds were so comfortable. It was peaceful for sleeping, the place was beautiful and clean, and the service felt like being at home. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of service for the price. It was 300% above expectations. You won’t regret visiting this hotel!

The people were super nice, and the shower and bathroom were great. Breakfast was great too. I’m giving it five stars for the experience at this price, even though there were a few drawbacks. It was warm at night in August without A/C, but opening the window made it comfortable for me. The bed was okay, not the best, and I still slept okay. The free Wi-Fi was annoying because I had to sign in a couple of times a day. All in all, a good experience.

A nice, affordable hotel with good service from reception and a good breakfast. Free public transport gets you to Freiburg, and there are other great places in the Schwarzwald nearby. The rooms are nice. Just perfect!
