Apartment 1 is modern and wheelchair accessible, with soundproof windows that kept almost all outside noise out. The location is ideal, and all the Christmas markets are very close. The festive room decorations were charming without being over the top. The kitchen is practically equipped. Booking was quick, and Holger, the landlord, was very friendly. Picking up the key was easy too. Underground parking can be rented, but the space is very tight and not really suitable for SUVs. We’ll definitely book again when our wine cellar is empty and it’s time to restock.

We met friends at this holiday apartment and spent the evening together. It’s spacious enough for two to four people, with a bedroom, a living room and open-plan kitchen, and a very large bathroom. The furnishings are tasteful and modern, and everything looked new and well cared for. It’s on the first floor of a commercial building in the heart of Koblenz, alongside three other apartments. Underground parking is available.

The location, cleanliness and space were all highlights. Our 70 m² deluxe apartment comfortably suited four people, with a roomy living area, bedroom and bathroom, plenty of storage, and good quality furniture. We appreciated having a garage with direct elevator access for €9.50 a day. Check-in was quick too: call the contact person an hour before arrival, and they’ll be ready to welcome you. A couple of details may help future guests. The kitchen is really only set up for breakfast, with a two-burner electric hob and microwave, but no oven or grill. There’s no dishwasher either, so we washed up by hand. Dish soap, a sponge and drying rack were supplied, but no tea towels. We didn’t ask whether any were available, and just let the dishes air dry. We were also disappointed not to know ahead of time that there was a filter coffee machine, since we could have brought ground coffee. Noise from the shopping street can be an issue because the sofa bed is in the living room and the windows aren’t soundproof. The Dönner/Kebab shop across the street could be heard. We visited over Christmas and perhaps COVID also affected things, as the shop was closed around midnight. We only occasionally heard loud passers-by, not the shop itself, so it’s understandable that other reviews mention the noise. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

I felt completely at ease here with my 8-month-old daughter, and we’ll definitely come back. The owners are super friendly and flexible, and everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. The apartment has plenty of cookware, dishes, cutlery, glasses and storage containers, plus a toaster, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine and dryer. Both machines have baby protection and a sports program. The apartments are tastefully furnished and full of thoughtful details. There are a couple of small drawbacks: you can hear city noise at night, and some light comes through the blackout curtains. Once you’ve met the owners, those are easy to overlook. An underground garage parking space is available, with an elevator straight to the right floor. I didn’t use my car at all because everything is within walking distance and there’s a bus stop just outside. Highly recommended!
