Hotel Stein

We chose Schiller's Restaurant for our anniversary and had the five-course menu with the wine menu. The salmon was my favorite, though the vegetable dishes were delicious and creative too. Every plate was beautifully presented, and you could tell the chef was passionate about the food when he came out to greet us. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the service was the best I've experienced. The lovely ambiance made the evening feel extra special. It was pricey, as expected, but absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.

We picked the Garden menu at Schiller's Manufaktur, and every course was fantastic, both in flavor and presentation. The pepper wrapped potato and mushroom “goulash” with spätzle was a favorite, a lovely German touch. The dining room felt cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. We wish we'd arrived earlier to see more of the outdoor area. It's hard to capture how good the meal was in a review. If you're in Koblenz and looking for this kind of dinner, I'd encourage you to try it.

The staff were friendly and upfront about a few minor problems with the heating and hot water.

The garden-facing breakfast room was lovely, and parking was free, but the hotel felt considerably overpriced and in need of an update. Our small room showed wear and looked like it hadn't been refreshed in a long time. Both beds sagged in the middle and creaked, and there were holes in the sheets. Breakfast was standard; if you wanted an egg or fruit salad, you had to ask, since the staff didn't offer them. One waiter served food with his face mask hanging down.
