What stood out most was how kindly the staff handled my booking mix-up. After a long trip, I’d accidentally got my check-in time wrong, but they stayed calm, found a comfortable solution right away, and made sure I could rest without trouble. Their care made me feel welcome. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. Being right in the city center also made it easy to get around Koblenz, with restaurants, shops, and important places within walking distance. I was very satisfied with the stay and would happily return to Premier Inn Koblenz.

The view was beautiful, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. It was a really nice place for a city trip. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it.

We used to come here several times a year, back when it was managed by Super 8, and could book one double room for our two young toddlers. Since it was rebranded as Premier Inn, it no longer feels accommodating for families. Now they expect you to book two double rooms and don’t offer a family-friendly alternative, even though the brand does at other locations. This reflects poorly on the new management company, and we’ll avoid Premier Inns elsewhere too.

The room itself was nice, the view was good, and the beds were comfortable. But the shower never got very warm, and with normal use water splashed halfway across the room. The room door was also so heavy that an older person or someone using a cane or walker might struggle with it. We had a stressful check-in after a long day of travel. We’d booked and paid through Expedia, but the two men on the night shift said they hadn’t received payment and wouldn’t let us into our rooms unless we paid again. I showed them the booking and payment confirmation email, the bank payment to Expedia, the Expedia website confirmation, and the receipt, but they still insisted we pay in person and sort it out ourselves. The older of the two was rude. The women at the desk the next morning were kind and helpful. They took time to check the computer, found what had happened, and arranged reimbursement, which relieved a lot of the stress. The night staff had been uncooperative and basically told us to sit there and figure it out. There were practical problems around the hotel too. One elevator worked, but the other was marked out of service for maintenance. If the working one was sent to the other floor, you had to take the stairs, which could be difficult for people with mobility issues. I tried it several times. The vending machine was broken, and both the bar and restaurant were closed, so finding food and drink wasn’t as easy as expected. At other hotels we’ve stayed in, the bar stayed open later and had pleasant evening staff. The area is generally good for walking, but there isn’t much restaurant choice, especially late at night. Around midnight, McDonald’s was the only place open nearby. Without the helpful women at the desk in the morning, I would have rated the stay worse.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were polite and courteous. It’s centrally located, close to everything.
