Hotel Restaurant Weinlaube

The garden, pool, and views were the bright spots. The hotel has made some effort to update things, but the rooms are small, the pillows aren't great, and the shower temperature swings from warm to cold quickly. Staff generally weren't very friendly, and only a few spoke English.

Hi, we stayed four nights, and the restaurant was closed on two of those evenings. On Sunday the hotel itself was closed, so it was only possible to get into your room. Given the location, I think it should be open 24/7. Even when it was open, we couldn't get ice cubes. I can't recommend this hotel.

The beds are really comfortable, and the place has a relaxed, chilled feel. There's even a piano you can play. I didn't have time to try the restaurant, but it looks like you can get good food there. The Rhein River is about 15 minutes down the hill if you fancy a walk.

We stayed one night in August while passing through, and our puppy isn't very good at being left alone yet. The morning staff kindly let us have breakfast with our pup in a separate section of the restaurant, which we really appreciated. The pictures are a little misleading, but the staff went above and beyond for us. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We're in the Mosel region fairly often, so I'm quite sure we'd stay again.
