Mrs. Schenk was so warm and clearly knows her work. The rooms are basic but clean, and breakfast had plenty of choices. It’s a lovely area for hiking and unwinding, with a very quiet setting and parking always available. Thanks again for everything. Best wishes, Gerald.

We felt right at home here. The rooms were neat and very clean, and the guesthouse is right in the center.

You can head out on several lovely hiking trails right from the door, and the Southern Black Forest and Swabian Alps are easy to get to by car. It’s also just a short walk into the center of this charming spa town, with its history at every turn, including Herrnhut Church and Albert Schweitzer House. The natural surroundings make it a peaceful place to stay. My single room looked a little dated, though everything worked and was clean. Breakfast came to the table at the time I’d requested, with the items I’d selected in advance. There wasn’t a buffet, but the food was fresh and nicely presented. Morning sun made the cozy dining room feel especially pleasant. The host family were friendly, and I’d gladly stay again.

A quiet, comfortable place that feels welcoming. My room was spotless, and the private bathroom had clearly been fully renovated. There’s a shared bathroom as well for anyone who needs it. I’d definitely come back.
