The rooms are a little dated, but functional, and the bed feels comfortable, though we haven’t slept in it yet. The restaurant was quiet and the food decent, especially if you like schnitzel and other Austrian dishes. It’s an unassuming hotel and restaurant, just right for a night while passing through.

We loved staying at Kärntner Stub'n. It’s within walking distance of the little town and right beside the bus stop. The service was great, and the restaurant serves lovely traditional German and Austrian food. A really nice little find in the German countryside. Highly recommend.

The food is excellent and the beer prices are okay. There’s a beer garden as well. The rooms are small, with no air conditioning, and some are upstairs without an elevator. Of course, no air conditioning in Germany, haha.

I completely agree with S.W.’s review from a month ago: the service can be selective, and if you aren’t one of the chosen customers, it becomes sluggish, with a clear sense of reluctance. This doesn’t apply to all the staff. I’m referring in particular to Frau S. F., who, according to my bill, ‘served’ me in the Biergarten.

The Biergarten had a great atmosphere, and both the food and service were very good. A pleasant spot for an easy lunch.
