Leonardo Hotel Köln

We were there for around six days and had a great stay. The service was really good, the food was amazing, and we liked the rooms a lot.

The rooms were disappointing, with thin walls, sticky floors, and little cleanliness or comfort. Most weren't ready as booked either: we had requested four single rooms and four twin rooms with separate beds, but almost none matched that arrangement. We had originally reserved eight rooms at the Bon Airport location through sales representative Maria Valero. On check-in day, I called the property and learned the whole booking had been moved to this location without warning or explanation. That was baffling and unprofessional. The experience was frustrating from beginning to end. If reliability and professionalism matter to you, I strongly suggest avoiding this hotel chain. I won't stay here again.

I felt so unsafe that I booked another hotel. They told us they'd refund the rest of the week, so we went ahead and booked elsewhere, but then they refused. Now I'm paying for a room I'm not using. It feels dishonest, and probably illegal.

The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. There's a bus stop beside the hotel, and the parking area was spacious and adequate.
