Can and Ecem made our stay feel far more personal than the usual hotel or Airbnb experience. Their proactive service was on another level, and I hope Aqual Hotel knows what great people it has hired. It's rare to meet people who really enjoy looking after others and making them happy, as Can put it. Can was kind, hardworking, upbeat and dependable, and always ready to help. Ecem was warm, attentive and clearly put a lot of care into everything she did, with real dedication and a wish not to let management down. They both left a brilliant human impression and made us feel loyal to the place. The bar also rents out board games and has a swing you can use, which is an awesome touch. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you want to feel relaxed, cared for and happy in the middle of a busy life.

Updated 2026. This is a nice, clean and friendly hotel, and it's dog-friendly. The heating is adequate, and wheelchair users can get to all areas without steps. There are two WiFi networks: an open one with restrictions and a separate guest network, which works very well.

The breakfast had a great selection, including lots of vegan food, and I loved it. Service was friendly, the rooms were nice and quiet, and there was parking at the hotel and nearby. It's a great starting point for bike riders, and Konstanz city is about 10-15 minutes away.

We really liked the hotel's decorated vibe, and were glad to support this family business. The staff were warm and attentive to the details, and the service was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, too. We'd definitely return.

Only two small things kept this from being perfect: the shower's hair conditioner bottle was empty, and the fridge didn't get cold enough for my beer. Otherwise, everything was great. The breakfast is excellent, and the beach-holiday style dining area is a lovely place to relax. The bed was much better than what many four-star hotels offer, the room was large, and parking is on site. Staff were more than happy to help. You also get a free public transport ticket for the city and surrounding area, so you can leave the car at the hotel and have a beer in town.
