Ibis Budget Konstanz

The one bright spot was the woman working in the breakfast area. She was friendly and professional. The rest of the stay really lived up to the one-star rating. I’ve been to campsites with better customer service. Our bathroom sink had a problem, and even after we complained twice, no maintenance worker showed up. The reception was shut for nearly our whole stay, so we had to go to the reception at the adjacent 'styles' hotel. Room service was advertised on stickers as available on demand. We hung the requested tag on the door handle, but housekeeping ignored it. After we raised it with the receptionist, someone finally came to “clean” the room. The sheets were still the same, there was no extra toilet paper, and the floors hadn’t been vacuumed. At least they changed the towels. Definitely one to avoid.

It wasn’t clean enough for us, and breakfast was very basic with little to eat.

I’ve stayed here many times. The quality is decent for the price, and breakfast is okay.

The people were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the water was warm. Breakfast had loads of choice and was amazing. The Bodensee is about a five-minute walk away. Just keep in mind you’re getting what you pay for, not a five-star Hilton or luxury.
